Russ Springsteen
 I have been a barber since 1989. I have worked in low-key and upscale salons in East Lansing, MI, Boulder, CO, and Traverse City, MI. Although I have a barber’s license, I didn’t want to cut the same old man horseshoe cut forever. So, I ventured out and did women’s hair and found doing color to be a great creative outlet. I also brewed beer in a couple of Traverse City breweries, for two main reasons: I really wanted to, and I needed the experience to make this whole idea work.
Cecilia Elmer
 I have been creating new hair styles and looks since graduating from TBA Cosmetology School. With my continuing education in Schwarzkopf color, I can create any look you desire or correct anything. Along with color, my training and experience allow me to design flattering cuts for women, men, and children. I can help with updating your look or simply maintaining your style.
Kevin DuFort
 After years in the hair business, then following another path, I’m very happy to be back. I have always had a creative and constructive side, and hair seems to be my medium of choice. After hearing rumbles in the grapevine about Salon Saloon, I had to check it out. In the past, my clientele was mostly male, so Salon Saloon seemed to be a natural fit. Furthermore, I knew that women and children would be comfortable and have fun here. I am excited to be part of this unique Traverse City venture. Welcome and enjoy!
